Travel blogs are fun and potentially very lucrative businesses to get into. They are great for those who love exploring and documenting their exploits in written form.

These types of sites are still in high demand even with the omnipresence of AI tools like ChatGPT. There is simply no subsitute from reading a real human's experience of visiting a place you'd like to travel soon.

The only real downside of a travel blog is that there are literally thousands of them! The market is pretty saturated albeit not as much as some others. As such, you'll need a niche and interesting travel content that makes your site stand out from the pack.

To help you get started, I've listed some fun and unique travel niches to help get those creative juices going! And, as an added bonus, I've included the average CPC (cost per click) for as many niches as I could find.

• 1. Solo Female Travel - Average CPC: $1.75 - This can be a great blog for ladies looking to globe trot solo. Unfortunately, many places throughout the world aren't safe for females to travel alone or at all. If you go this route, be sure to keep your data up-to-date as it could save someone's life.
• 2. Luxury Travel Worldwide - Average CPC: $3.05 - You probably won't find many people who can afford luxury travel these days but one can dream! Lavish travel has fascinated many for years and will likely continue to do so.
• 3. Backpacking - Traveling throughout the land with nothing but a backpack is about as close as most of us will get to living life as a Pokemon trainer. Those with a task for adventure and a higher-than-normal risk tolerance will feel right at home!
• 4. Business Travel - Average CPC: $3.75 - $14.32 - These CPC for this varies widely because keywords for credit cards and insurance are often bundled into this niche. While I hate traveling for business, it's a necessity for some things.
• 5. Family Travel - Average CPC - $0.89 - This is my favorite type of travel. Although the CPC is relatively low, its volume is high and competition is on the lower side.
