Calculating your GPA is relatively straight forward as long as you have the numerical value of the grade you receive. Its a little difficult to calculate GPA based on letter grade alone since grading scales vary from institution to institution.

For example, I once attended a college that considered 79% a B-. To make things a little easier, and reduce the amount of mental math you have to do, I put together a very simple GPA calculator.

How To Use The GPA Calculator
