Working a 40+ hour week is tough, so cashing your paycheck should be easy. Unfortunately, if you don't have access to a bank account or your ID, it can become a real hassle. To help my fellow workers out, I've compiled a comprehensive list of places that will cash your paycheck. From liquor stores to grocery stores and everything in between, you'll find a viable option here.
This will vary from state to state, but many independently owned liquor stores will cash your check for you. The fees are generally not too steep either. Here is a list of liquor stores that cash checks:
Mel's Liquors - Offers check cashing for payroll, business, and tax refund checks with a small flat fee starting at $1 for checks under $100.
Southwest Check Cashing & Liquor Store - Located in Baltimore, this store cashes payroll, personal, tax refund, and other checks, typically with reasonable fees.
