What is the formula for ROI?

To calculate the ROI on any investment, you will need to take the net income of your investment and divide it by the cost of the investment. Once you have that value, multiply it by 100 to get your ROI percentage.

To obtain your net income, take the amount of money you have made and substract the money you spent.
